The spine of the district is Bournemouth Road (the A35), where you’ll build genuine confidence with multi-lane traffic, filter lanes, bus stops, and the steady flow of cars joining from side roads. Around Commercial Road the driving turns tighter and busier: parked delivery vans, pedestrians stepping out between cars, and mini-roundabouts that reward good observation. Up in Upper Parkstone the streets climb, giving you the hill starts, tight meeting situations, and parallel parking that catch out under-prepared learners on test day.
